    There is a lot more to FAA Medical color vision these days than just a light gun test… Go here for the info you need. The Light gun is now the Operational Color Vision Test… It involves the light gun and chart reading. This is only good for 3rd class. 2nd and 1st requires a Medical Flight Test. You need to fly with the FEDs and point out colors of lighting systems, other planes, etc. THIS IS THE LAST RESORT OPTION with a 1 TIME CHANCE.
