  • Let’s use my hours from last year as an airline pilot who works a minimal schedule.
  • Away from base 2475 hours for 2019 = 103 days.
  • The average number of hours I am away in a year = 6.78.
  • Normally I work 15 days a month max.
  • 7 days in a row off every month.
  • Normally most work 16 to 18 days a month.
